“State of the Union” is live from the RNC Convention in Tampa.  While there Candy talks to RNC Chairman Reince Priebus on the implications of Todd Akin’s remarks on rape. Will Akin’s position damage Mitt Romney’s presidential chances, and will it help democrats keep control of the senate?

Plus, re-branding the Republican Party with Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, Al Cardenas, Chairman of the American Conservative Union, and Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX).

Then,  Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley offers the Democratic rebuttal.

A lot is riding on the Super Tuesday results for the presidential candidates. Candy sits down with two of them this Sunday.

First, Newt Gingrich. He says his home state of Georgia is a must-win to ensure the credibility of his campaign. Will he pull it off, and if not, will his candidacy continue?

Then, Ron Paul joins us from one of the Super Tuesday states-Alaska. He’s the only GOP presidential candidate to visit the state known as “The Last Frontier.” Will it bring him his first win in the race to the White House?

The White House isn’t the only thing up for grabs in 2012, so is control of the House and Senate. Have recent retirements dashed the hopes of Republicans to take over control of the Senate? CNN Senior Congressional Correspondent Dana Bash and CNN Senior Political Analyst Ron Brownstein join us for their analysis.

And State of the Union will be covering President Obama’s AIPAC speech in-depth. We get a preview in the 9am ET hour with former U.S. Ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk and former Under Secretary of State Nick Burns. We’ll bring you President Obama’s AIPAC speech in its entirety in the 11am hour. And we’ll get post-speech analysis in the 12pm ET hour with  Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Maryland).
