GOP Senator dodges blocking nominees over Benghazi, says “we’ve been brushed off many times”.
Senator Kelly Ayotte today did not say specifically whether she will block every presidential nominee Obama puts forward until every survivor of the attack last year in Benghazi testifies on Capitol Hill.
In an exclusive interview with Candy Crowley today, Republican New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte called on President Obama for a “time-out” and convene a bipartisan group of Congressional leaders to fix Obamacare. She said that the ACA was passed on party lines and that Congress needs to work together to stop the bleeding. Ayotte said that the President should “Convene a group of bipartisan leaders to address health care concerns in this country because this is not working. I'm hearing it from my constituents and let's do this right as opposed to way this was passed in the first instance.”
