“This is a humanitarian crisis,” so says Jeanne-Aimee De Marrais of “Save the Children.” She is talking about the thousands of children flooding the U.S. border with Mexico.
“This is an unprecedented influx of unaccompanied children,” said Marrais, the director of domestic emergencies for Save the Children. “We aren’t aware of any other influx of kids, in this scope and scale, anywhere in the world. There’s not a manual of ‘how do you handle this?’”
