Beating the heat

How “SOTU” is beating this week’s hot and sticky summer weather…

1. We’re wearing light-colored, loose-fitting clothing on the off-chance we’re desperate enough to grab lunch outside the office. However, when we’re inside the office, we’re wearing a sweater, fleece or blanket because it’s a chilly 60 degrees. ***Please note: no one is complaining about the office temperature.

2. A ponytail is pretty much the only option in such sweltering heat and humidity. They look so cute though, right?

3. We’re staying hydrated. Check out the nine drinks we brought to our morning meeting. ***This is just the start of our day.

4. It’s likely “frozen yogurt/popsicle/ice cream/milkshake day” several times over the next few days...

5. We’re reminding ourselves that the first day of fall is a short 65 days away – September 22nd.
