We’re back in Washington, fresh off our trip from Iowa, where we’ll quickly prep before heading off to Manchester, New Hampshire. Here’s what you can look forward to this Sunday.
The story of the week: the Santorum momentum and whether or not it will last into Tuesday’s New Hampshire primaries. Fun fact: No GOP candidate has ever won both the New Hampshire primary and the Iowa caucuses. That coupled with Mitt Romney holding a big lead in the polls tells us that a Santorum win would be quite the headline. Meanwhile, Jon Huntsman has made a win in New Hampshire his entire campaign strategy and has spent far more time there than any other candidate. If he loses on Tuesday, will his campaign continue?
And of course, there’s other news going on in Washington besides the latest from the campaign trail. We have an exclusive interview with House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi on her objectives for Congress in 2012, President Obama’s recess appointments, and the proposal of a new, leaner military strategy.
Tune to catch it all this Sunday at 9am/12pm ET, and watch Candy during CNN’s special coverage of the New Hampshire primary, starting Tuesday at 7pm ET.
