Sneak Peek...

The clock is still ticking, as we’re just days away from the August 2nd deadline. We still don’t have a deal on the debt, with each side scrambling for a last minute breakthrough. The tough part will be finding common ground that will allow passage in both the House and Senate. The debt will be a big focus this Sunday, as guest host Gloria Borger will talk to the key players involved in finding a solution.

We will also run more of Candy’s interview with Presidential Candidate Tim Pawlenty. Last week, Pawlenty made headlines with his thoughts on the economy, the debt negotiations, President Obama, and gay marriage. This Sunday, you won’t want to miss what he has to say about the other republican candidates, including fellow Minnesotan Michele Bachmann.

As a preview, here’s a web-exclusive of Pawlenty on foreign policy issues such as Libya, his party’s stance on Defense, and Afghanistan.
