In an exclusive interview on “State of the Union,” House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) told us that his committee’s interviews with IRS staffers in Cincinnati suggest that the Obama administration ordered the targeting of conservative groups. Issa’s committee provided us with partial transcripts of the interviews. Issa blasted White House Press Secretary, Jay Carney, as a “paid liar” over his handling of the controversy. Issa’s committee will hold a hearing on Thursday looking at excessive spending at the tax collecting agency.
