This Sunday...

An exclusive interview with Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy (D-CT) on signing one of the strongest and most comprehensive pieces of gun legislation in the nation – banning the sale of certain guns as well as high capacity magazines – and what precedent this could set for federal legislation when Congress returns to work next week..

Former Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman joins to discuss North Korea’s nuclear threat, the administration’s developing crisis strategy to deal with a potential missile attack on U.S. soil, and China’s role in dealing with their neighbor and its new leader, Kim Jong Un.

Speaking of the border, immigration will be on the front burner when Congress returns. We’ll be joined by Representative Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL), a leader in the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and Representative Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL), Chairman and co-founder of Congressional Hispanic Conference.  They are working with a bipartisan group on a reform proposal to discuss what initiatives the House will take on immigration, including the potential path to citizenship for undocumented workers, the “provisional legal status” for those who admit to breaking the law and the reality behind asking undocumented workers to return to their home countries and apply for legal entry.

Plus, Mike Duffy of Time Magazine and the Cook Political Report’s Amy Walter on the reemergence of Hillary Clinton, the emerging Obama Budget and why isn’t there an emergence of jobs.
