Rubio: I don't think about being pres.

Republican Sen. Marco Rubio tells Candy Crowley that he doesn't aspire to be president of the United States.

"I've never approached public service in that way. I think if you do it's a recipe for disaster.

I have always approach it as the following - if you have a job, if you're given an opportunity to serve and you do a good job, you will have opportunities to do other things. We just don't know what those opportunities are going to be. They may be outside of government. They may be in the not for profit sector. They may be in business. They may be in politics. I don't know.

But the biggest trap I have seen in politics is when someone goes into a position with the idea of creating a platform to run for something else it almost always ends up bad. So I deliberately don't think about what specific things this will lead to."
