While one certain story has been grabbing the headlines, we here at State of the Union are monitoring all the week's political events.

First, the obvious:  Herman Cain's evolving controversy over sexual harassment allegations from the 1990s.  It now appears Cain thinks he's found the leak, a former consultant to his 2004 Senate campaign who is now associated with the Perry campaign.  The consultant denies the charges, all while Cain is still riding high in the polls.  But will he stay at the top if this story continues to grow more legs?
